As a member of our subsurface group, you will collaborate with geoscientists, drilling, completions, and facilities engineers to maximize recovery and asset value through data-driven decisions.
Responsibility
- Lead reservoir characterization, development planning, and production optimization studies for onshore and offshore assets.
- Develop and implement field development plans, well spacing, and artificial lift strategies.
- Build and run reservoir simulations to evaluate depletion strategies and optimize production forecasting.
- Collaborate with drilling, completions, facilities, and HSE teams to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.
- Monitor asset performance, conduct performance analyses, and recommend mitigation measures.
- Mentor junior engineers and support capacity-building across the subsurface team.
- Present technical findings to executives and cross-functional stakeholders for decision-making.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of industry experience in oil and gas with reservoir characterization and production optimization.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and interpretation software (Eclipse, Petrel, CMG, or similar).
- Strong data analytics, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- PE license preferred; willingness to obtain as required.
- U.S. work authorization; willing to travel as needed.
