EnerTech Solutions is seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our dynamic team in Houston. You will drive field development planning, optimize production, and contribute to reservoir management strategies across onshore and offshore assets. Responsibility
- Lead reservoir engineering studies, including decline curve analysis, material balance, and reserves estimation.
- Develop and optimize field development plans, well spacing, fracturing programs, artificial lift designs, and surveillance strategies.
- Perform production forecasting and economic evaluation (NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis) to support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with drilling, facilities, and production teams to implement optimization initiatives and expand asset value.
- Analyze production data, build and update dynamic models using Eclipse, Petrel, CMG, or similar tools.
- Implement digital oilfield technologies, data analytics, and real-time surveillance to improve reliability and uptime.
- Mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with HSE standards, and uphold industry best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master's preferred
- 7+ years of upstream reservoir engineering experience
- Proficiency with reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG) and production optimization tools
- Strong knowledge of reserves estimation standards (PRMS) and economic evaluation (NPV, IRR)
- Solid understanding of drilling, completions, facilities, and artificial lift
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; willingness to obtain where required
- Ability to travel as needed and work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
