We are seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our Houston team. This role offers leadership in reservoir optimization, drilling performance, and production engineering across onshore and offshore projects with exposure to multi-disciplinary teams and global assets.

Responsibility

  • Lead reservoir engineering studies, including reserves estimation, decline curve analysis, and EUR predictions.
  • Design and optimize drilling programs for onshore and offshore assets to minimize cost and maximize safety.
  • Collaborate with geologists, production engineers, and operations to optimize field development plans.
  • Develop and review well completions, artificial lift strategies, and production optimization initiatives.
  • Apply reservoir simulation tools (e.g., Eclipse, VIP) and data analytics to improve asset performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers, support junior staff development, and drive knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory requirements, and company standards across projects.

Qualification

  • Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or closely related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in petroleum engineering, with strong reservoir and drilling background.
  • Experience with reservoir simulation, well test analysis, and production optimization tools.
  • Proficiency in drilling engineering, completions, and stimulation design; familiar with modern EOR concepts.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages beneficial.
