Responsibility
- Lead reservoir characterization, production forecasting, and field development planning.
- Develop and review economic models, CAPEX/OPEX estimates, and project economics to support investment decisions.
- Build and calibrate reservoir simulation models (Eclipse, CMG) and production optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with geoscience, facilities, completions, and surface teams to optimize field performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training programs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements across projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage technical risks; champion data-driven decision making.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master's degree preferred; PE license is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of upstream oil and gas experience with strong reservoir engineering background.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, Petrel) and data analytics tools.
- Solid understanding of drilling, completions, facilities, and surface networks.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project-management skills.
- Experience with economic evaluation, uncertainty analysis, and decision analysis.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
