Responsibility
- Lead reservoir characterization, history matching, decline curve analysis, and reserves estimation.
- Design and optimize drilling, completions, and workover strategies to maximize asset value.
- Develop and implement production optimization plans using advanced reservoir simulation tools.
- Collaborate with Geoscience, Drilling, Facilities, HSE, and Commercial teams to evaluate development options and economic returns.
- Perform techno-economic evaluations and risk assessments for field development projects.
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Champion digital oilfield initiatives and analyze real-time data to improve uptime and recoveries.
- Prepare technical reports and present recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir management or field development expertise.
- Proficiency with reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, CMG, or similar) and production data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of drilling, completions, stimulation, workovers, and artificial lift.
- Experience with HSE, regulatory compliance, and risk management in oil & gas operations.
- Advanced data analysis skills; programming in Python or MATLAB is a plus; proficient in Excel.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities; ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
