Responsibility
- Lead reservoir characterization, modelling, and decline curve analysis to optimize recovery and extend field life.
- Design and optimize drilling programs, completions, and workovers with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and cost control.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, facilities, and production teams to develop integrated field development plans.
- Perform economic evaluations, risk analyses, and decision support analyses for CAPEX/OPEX planning.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and data integrity across all projects.
- Mentor and train junior engineers; conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering best practices.
- Utilize reservoir simulation and data analytics to optimize production, forecasting, and reserves management.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of upstream petroleum engineering experience with reservoir and drilling exposure.
- Proficiency with reservoir simulators (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel) and drilling software; familiarity with IOR/IOR strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills; experience with SQL, Python, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; proven track record leading cross-functional projects.
- US work authorization and willingness to travel to field sites as needed.
