Responsibility
- Lead integrated reservoir evaluations and field development planning to maximize recovery and value.
- Design and optimize well trajectories, completions, stimulation programs, and artificial lift strategies.
- Oversee drilling, testing, production operations, and production optimization projects; troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
- Perform reservoir simulation, decline curve analysis, reserves estimation, and economic evaluation for development projects.
- Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, production, and facilities teams to deliver technically sound and safe projects; manage budgets and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements; promote a strong safety culture.
- Mentor and train junior engineers; contribute to recruitment and technical development initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; MS/PE license preferred.
- 7+ years of upstream petroleum engineering experience with demonstrated project leadership.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, or similar) and well design tools (OFM, PIPESIM, Prosper).
- Solid understanding of drilling, completions, stimulation, production operations, and artificial lift.
- Strong analytical skills, data interpretation, and familiarity with Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Houston or commute as required; PE license preferred.
