- Design and optimize drilling programs, completions, and well interventions to maximize recovery and minimize costs.
- Perform rigorous data analytics and reservoir simulations to forecast performance and quantify uncertainty.
- Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, facilities, and HSE teams to ensure safe, compliant operations and timely project delivery.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs); implement optimization strategies based on real-time data.
- Prepare technical reports, present recommendations to senior management, and mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead risk assessments, cost estimation, and project scheduling for multi-wasset assets.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in oil and gas reservoir engineering, drilling, or production optimization.
- Strong proficiency with petroleum engineering tools (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, WellPath) and data analytics.
- Solid understanding of reservoir simulation, wellTest interpretation, and field development planning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management skills.
- US work authorization; PE license or eligibility preferred.
- Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed.
