BlueHorizons Energy is seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Houston. You will lead advanced reservoir and production engineering initiatives across onshore and offshore assets, leveraging state-of-the-art modeling tools and data analytics to optimize field development and maximize value.

Responsibility
- Lead reservoir characterization and dynamic simulation studies to support field development planning and production forecasts.
- Develop and optimize production schemes, well spacing, stimulation, and artificial lift strategies to maximize recovery and NPV.
- Perform data-driven reservoir management using Eclipse, CMG, Python-based analytics, and PVT data integration.
- Collaborate with drilling, facilities, and surface teams to design tie-ins and facility expansions while maintaining HSE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present technical reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating complex results into actionable recommendations.
- Lead risk assessment, reserves estimation, and annual production planning with an emphasis on reliability and efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in reservoir and production engineering in oil and gas, with offshore/onshore exposure.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, CMG, Pipesim) and data analytics (Python, SQL).
- Strong understanding of reservoir management, PVT analysis, nodal analysis, and production forecasting.
- Experience with HSE standards, regulatory compliance, and safe operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to present complex results clearly.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility in Texas is a plus.
