Responsibility
- Lead reservoir engineering analyses, dynamic simulation, and production optimization studies to maximize recovery and project value.
- Develop field development plans, economic evaluations, and risk analysis to support capital allocation decisions.
- Perform decline curve analysis, reserves estimation, and PVT/well-test interpretation to guide operations.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling, and facilities teams to integrate subsurface data into field development strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and ensure adherence to HSE and regulatory standards.
- Manage technical projects, prepare client-ready reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Pipesim, Petrel) for modeling and decision support.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering; Masterβs preferred; PE license is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in reservoir engineering, production optimization, or E&P projects.
- Proficiency with reservoir simulation and production engineering software (Eclipse, Pipesim, Petrel, Prosper, CMG).
- Strong understanding of PVT data, rock-fluid properties, nodal analysis, and well-test interpretation.
- Experience with data analytics, uncertainty quantification, and economic evaluations (NPV, IRR).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to manage projects and mentor teammates.
- Ability to travel as needed and to work in a global, multi-cultural team.
