Join LumenFrame Studios, a premium photography studio in New York City, as a Senior Photographer. This full-time role blends creative direction with technical mastery to deliver compelling visuals for brands, campaigns, and editorial shoots.
You will collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to translate concepts into vivid, high-quality imagery. You’ll lead shoots, manage lighting setups, and oversee post-production workflows to ensure consistent, publish-ready assets.
We’re seeking a proactive storyteller with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for elevating every frame through light, color, and composition.
Responsibility
- Lead and execute studio and on-location photography shoots for commercial and editorial projects.
- Conceptualize creative directions in collaboration with directors, stylists, and clients.
- Design and manage efficient lighting setups, camera workflows, and equipment inventory.
- Direct models and subjects to achieve authentic expressions and compelling narratives.
- Oversee post-production: color grading, retouching, and final asset delivery to required specs.
- Maintain high standards of image quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with the art team to present mood boards, shot lists, and client-ready proofs.
- Mentor junior photographers and interns, sharing techniques and feedback to raise team skills.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional photography experience, with a strong portfolio in studio and on-location shoots.
- Expertise in lighting design, camera fundamentals, lens theory, and color management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop; familiarity with capture software and LUTs.
- Strong directorial ability, communication, and client-facing presentation skills.
- Experience with retouching workflows and delivering high-resolution assets for print and digital media.
- Ability to manage multiple shoots simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for shoots and occasional after-hours workloads as required.
- Portfolio review required; must demonstrate storytelling through imagery and composition.
