Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based treatment for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance function and prevent re-injury.
  • Collaborate with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Mentor junior therapists, supervise students, and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement.
  • Contribute to clinic programs, triage, and efficient patient flow; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in research or evidence-based practice initiatives.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent; current APA membership recommended.
  • Full registration with AHPRA to practise physiotherapy in Australia.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical physiotherapy experience, with musculoskeletal/sports focus preferred.
  • Strong manual therapy skills, exercise prescription, and use of outcome measures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team; strong organizational skills.
