In this role, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based treatment for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance function and prevent re-injury.
- Collaborate with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Mentor junior therapists, supervise students, and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement.
- Contribute to clinic programs, triage, and efficient patient flow; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in research or evidence-based practice initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent; current APA membership recommended.
- Full registration with AHPRA to practise physiotherapy in Australia.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical physiotherapy experience, with musculoskeletal/sports focus preferred.
- Strong manual therapy skills, exercise prescription, and use of outcome measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team; strong organizational skills.
