Momentum Physio & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our thriving private practice in the heart of Melbourne. In this role you will assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans, using manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to empower patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to program development, and participate in community outreach and education initiatives. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for MSK conditions
- Provide hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients on self-management, ergonomics, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with GP, surgeons, and allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team
- Document care accurately in electronic health records and maintain compliant records
- Contribute to clinic operations, mentorship for junior staff, and clinical governance initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to community workshops
Qualification
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or Doctor of Physiotherapy from an accredited program
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on MSK physiotherapy experience
- Evidence-based practice, strong clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a patient-centered approach
- Commitment to continuing professional development
