We are a premium physiotherapy clinic in the heart of Sydney, delivering evidence-based care to adults, athletes, and post-operative patients. We are seeking a motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our patient-centered private practice and lead high-quality care.

What you'll do:

  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and personalized treatment plans for musculoskeletal, sports, and injury rehabilitation.
  • Deliver hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust plans, and communicate clearly with patients and families.
  • Collaborate with GPs, surgeons, and other allied health professionals to coordinate care.
  • Contribute to clinic operations, mentorship of junior therapists, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Document care in our EHR system, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
  • Participate in community workshops, patient education programs, and clinic marketing efforts.

Ideal candidate:

  • Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA or equivalent
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and sports rehab
  • Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and prioritization of patient outcomes

Responsibility

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage musculoskeletal and sport-related injuries to design effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, dry needling (where permitted), and therapeutic exercise.
  • Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and communicate outcomes to patients and care teams.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients on self-management, injury prevention, and return-to-activity strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to clinic policies and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program.
  • AHPRA registration or equivalent required to practice in Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation.
  • Proven expertise in manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification; Working with Children Check may be required.
