Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end policy research on domestic policy issues, including legislation tracking, data analysis, and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Develop concise policy briefs and testimony-ready materials for policymakers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative developments and regulatory actions; synthesize impacts for internal and external audiences.
  • Engage with coalitions, interest groups, and government partners to advance policy priorities.
  • Communicate complex policy concepts through accessible reports, briefings, and public speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and communications teams to contextualize findings and maximize impact.

Qualification

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on policy analysis, government affairs, or think tank experience.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, with experience in data interpretation and policy modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, coalition building, and public speaking.
  • Deep familiarity with the United States federal policy landscape and the legislative process in Washington, DC.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data visualization tools, and policy research platforms; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
