Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic diplomatic engagement plans.
- Represent the Institute at multilateral forums, conferences, and meetings.
- Build collaborative relationships with government officials, NGOs, and international organizations.
- Advise executive leadership on emerging international issues and recommend policy responses.
- Draft high-level reports, policy briefs, and strategy documents for internal and external audiences.
- Monitor global developments and analyze implications for organizational interests.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure unified policy positions and representation.
- Facilitate dialogue between diverse stakeholders for conflict resolution and consensus building.
Qualification
- Master’s degree or higher in International Relations, Political Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in diplomacy, international organizations, or policy advisory roles.
- Proven track record in high-level negotiations and multilateral forums.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French or another UN language is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and global policy acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to build networks with senior officials and global partners.
- Capacity to navigate complex political environments with tact and professionalism.
- Swiss or EU work authorization is required.
