VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd is seeking a results driven Senior Process Associate Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize robust semiconductor manufacturing processes in our East Region campus. You will leverage data driven analytics to monitor process performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements that enhance yield, throughput, and equipment reliability. This role places you at the heart of production, enabling you to translate data insights into tangible operational gains that support delivering high quality semiconductors to customers on time.
As a key member of the process engineering team, you will partner with cross functional groups including Equipment Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and R&D to define and implement end to end process improvements. You will own process documentation, contribute to standard operating procedures, and lead initiatives that optimize cycling time, reduce defects, and increase equipment uptime. The role requires a hands on approach to problem solving, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast paced cleanroom environment. Responsibility
- Lead optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve yield, efficiency, and defect reduction.
- Collect, analyze, and visualize process data using statistical methods and common tools to drive data driven decisions.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators KPI such as yield, cycle time, WIP, and equipment uptime.
- Plan and conduct process investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions; lead DOE studies where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Equipment, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to define and implement SOPs and best practices.
- Escalate risks, propose mitigations, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support trial runs, commissioning, and ramping of new processes or tools; provide hands on troubleshooting and data logging.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3-7 years of hands on experience in semiconductor process engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong data analytics skills (Excel, SQL, Python/R) and experience with SPC and DOE.
- Proven problem solving abilities with a track record of process improvements and yield enhancement.
- Excellent cross functional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in Singapore East Region; willingness to support shift operations if required.
- Familiarity with safety, quality systems ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and GMP practices in a cleanroom environment.
