Job description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Professional Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver high impact training programs for our enterprise clients in New York City. This role blends instructional design, facilitation, and strategic program management to drive measurable performance improvements.
In this role you will partner with business leaders to translate strategy into actionable learning experiences that improve performance and drive measurable change. As a key member of our learning organization, you will lead the full training lifecycle from needs analysis to evaluation, ensuring content is accessible, engaging, and aligned with adult learning principles.
Responsibility
- Assess client needs and perform needs analysis to define learning objectives
- Design and develop engaging instructor led and e learning content using ADDIE frameworks
- Lead delivery of training sessions (in person and virtual) and facilitate dynamic learning experiences
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, program managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals
- Evaluate training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick levels and ROI metrics; provide recommendations to improve programs
- Manage multiple training projects, timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
- Build and maintain an internal knowledge base and training materials on LMS
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Psychology, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional training experience in corporate environments
- Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and blended learning
- Proficiency with learning management systems and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Captivate
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with ability to coach executives
- Ability to analyze training data and measure outcomes; solid project management skills
- Certifications such as CPTD or ATD are preferred
