Key responsibilities include leading project delivery, overseeing BIM workflows, and ensuring quality control across phases from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
Responsibility
- Lead design development from concept to construction documents for complex commercial, civic, and mixed-use projects.
- Coordinate BIM and CAD workflows, maintaining model integrity and clash detection.
- Manage project teams, schedules, and budgets; oversee QA/QC and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction to secure approvals.
- Prepare and present design concepts and construction documents to clients and committees.
- Oversee construction administration, review shop drawings, and respond to RFI's in a timely manner.
- Develop sustainable design strategies and ensure compliance with codes, zoning, and accessibility requirements.
Qualification
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited program; professional licensure in the United States preferred.
- 8+ years of professional experience in architecture and project delivery.
- Proficiency with BIM and CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD; Rhino/Grasshopper a plus).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, sustainability standards, and construction administration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with consultants and authorities.
- Portfolio demonstrating design excellence and construction documentation across sectors.
- Experience with client procurement, budgeting, and schedule management is a plus.
