NovaForma Architecture is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join our design-forward team in New York City. You will lead the design process for landmark-scale projects and collaborate with clients, engineers, and consultants to deliver exceptional architecture that blends performance, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Responsibility
- Lead design development from concept through construction documentation, ensuring programmatic accuracy and aesthetic quality.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver integrated BIM models and clash-free designs.
- Oversee project scheduling, budgets, quality control, and risk management to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, accessibility, and sustainability standards across all phases.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, translating program needs into compelling design solutions and presentations.
- Mentor and supervise junior architects and BIM technicians, fostering a collaborative practice and knowledge sharing.
- Lead response to planning approvals, client reviews, and construction administration with meticulous documentation.
Qualification
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Licensed Architect in the United States (or eligible to obtain licensure within a short timeframe).
- 7+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery, with a track record of successful completed projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/SketchUp and strong BIM coordination skills.
- Deep knowledge of building codes, accessibility, and sustainability standards (LEED or equivalent is a plus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities; capable of leading client meetings and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets while maintaining design excellence.
