Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of multiple residential and mixed-use properties for quality and compliance.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of assistants, leasing agents, and maintenance staff.
- Develop and execute property budgets, financial reports, and cost control strategies.
- Build strong tenant relationships to ensure retention, positive community atmosphere, and effective conflict resolution.
- Coordinate property maintenance, renovations, and vendor management to preserve asset value.
- Market vacant units, conduct showings, and approve tenant applications.
- Ensure legal and company policy compliance including leasing, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on property performance and improvement opportunities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive property management experience.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting and budget management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and tenant relations skills.
- Proven team leadership and staff development history.
- Knowledge of California property laws and fair housing regulations.
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar).
- CPM or CAM certification strongly preferred.
