BluePeak Property Group is actively seeking a results-driven Senior Property Manager to lead operations for a growing portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties in Austin, Texas. This role blends hands-on property oversight with strategic financial planning to maximize occupancy, optimize budgets, and deliver exceptional tenant experiences.
As a trusted leader, you will oversee leasing, maintenance, vendor management, compliance, and on-site operations across multiple properties. You will mentor site teams, implement best practices, and partner with asset managers to drive value and growth.
Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day operations for a diversified portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties in Austin.
- Lead leasing strategy, showings, renewals, and occupancy targets to achieve top-tier occupancy.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, capital improvement plans, and operating metrics.
- Supervise on-site and regional teams; mentor property staff and coordinate cross-property initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations, safety standards, and risk management practices.
- Monitor tenant relations, respond to inquiries, and resolve escalated issues to maintain high tenant satisfaction.
- Collaborate with asset managers to drive value and optimize portfolio performance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of property management experience with multi-property oversight; residential experience preferred.
- Texas Real Estate license or CAM/CPM designation is a plus.
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium) and MS Office.
- Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Leadership and team-building experience; ability to mentor onsite staff and coordinate with regional teams.
- Knowledge of local housing regulations, safety codes, and compliance requirements.
