Join a leading property management firm overseeing a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Austin, Texas. This senior role blends operations, leasing, maintenance coordination, financial oversight, and team leadership to maximize occupancy and profitability.
As a key member of our property operations team, you will partner with property owners, vendors, and tenants to deliver exceptional service while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong financial performance.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily property operations across multiple sites, ensuring high occupancy and excellent tenant experience.
- Lead leasing activities: showings, screening, renewals, rent collection, and vacant unit turns.
- Coordinate maintenance and capital projects with vendors, ensuring timely completion and cost control.
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Monitor financial performance, compile reports for owners, and support equity holders with accurate metrics.
- Ensure compliance with local landlord-tenant laws, fair housing, and safety standards.
- Manage a small team of onsite staff and coordinate with remote support teams.
- Implement and optimize property management software and reporting processes.
Qualification
- Bachelorβs degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field; professional designations (CPM, ARM) preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of property management experience, with residential and commercial exposure.
- Strong knowledge of Austin/Central Texas rental laws, fair housing, and building codes.
- Proven budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control skills.
- Experience with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and tenant relations skills.
- Vendor management and contractor coordination capabilities; ability to manage multiple sites.
- Self-motivated leader with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
