NovaQuant Labs is seeking a Senior Quantitative Mathematician to join our interdisciplinary team focused on advanced mathematical modeling, data science, and transformative analytics. You will design rigorous mathematical frameworks, implement scalable algorithms, and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and domain experts.

Responsibility
- Develop and analyze mathematical models in areas such as stochastic processes, numerical analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Translate theoretical constructs into robust, production-ready algorithms and software modules.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy scalable analytics tools.
- Design experiments, validate models with real-world data, and present results to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to publications, white papers, and internal knowledge bases.
- Document methodologies, benchmarks, and code with clear, maintainable practices.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field; MSc with strong research record also considered.
- 5+ years of research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, or data science.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with Julia or MATLAB; R is a plus.
- Strong foundation in stochastic processes, optimization, linear algebra, and statistical inference.
- Proven ability to implement algorithms at production scale and collaborate with engineers; familiarity with HPC is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and publications experience; ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
