Responsibility

  • Develop and analyze mathematical models in areas such as stochastic processes, numerical analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Translate theoretical constructs into robust, production-ready algorithms and software modules.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy scalable analytics tools.
  • Design experiments, validate models with real-world data, and present results to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to publications, white papers, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Document methodologies, benchmarks, and code with clear, maintainable practices.

Qualification

  • PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field; MSc with strong research record also considered.
  • 5+ years of research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, or data science.
  • Proficiency in Python; experience with Julia or MATLAB; R is a plus.
  • Strong foundation in stochastic processes, optimization, linear algebra, and statistical inference.
  • Proven ability to implement algorithms at production scale and collaborate with engineers; familiarity with HPC is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and publications experience; ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
