As a Senior Quantitative Researcher, you will lead experimental design, model development, and the translation of theoretical insights into scalable solutions that power product decisions and research breakthroughs. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts in a fast-paced, intellectually vibrant environment.
Responsibility
- Lead development of advanced mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex problems in data science, optimization, and simulation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to translate theory into scalable solutions.
- Design, implement, and validate experiments; develop reproducible research pipelines and tooling.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed venues and present results to internal and external audiences.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers, including code reviews and scientific writing support.
- Contribute to product roadmaps with quantified impact metrics and risk assessments, and support tech transfer.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field; or an MS with substantial industrial research experience.
- 5+ years of research experience in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, optimization, or machine learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, MATLAB; experience with numerical libraries and HPC concepts.
- Proven record of publications and ability to translate research into practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data-driven modeling, experimentation, and ML integration.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams; strong mentorship and collaboration skills.
