Job description

HarborPoint Realty Partners is seeking a Senior Real Estate Acquisition Manager to lead strategic investments across office, industrial, and multifamily assets in the San Francisco market.

You will source, evaluate, and close high-value deals, orchestrate due diligence, and collaborate with asset management to maximize returns for our institutional and high-net-worth investors.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end acquisition processes for target properties, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and closing.
  • Develop and execute market strategies, perform rigorous financial modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, lenders, equity partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee due diligence coordination across legal, finance, environmental, and zoning teams.
  • Structure terms, negotiate to favorable price and contingencies, and manage deal documentation.
  • Collaborate with asset management to integrate newly acquired assets and drive value-add initiatives.
  • Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the investment committee and investors.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 7+ years of real estate investment, acquisitions, or asset management experience.
  • Proven track record closing transactions with total value exceeding $50M.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel, Argus) and market research capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
  • Deep knowledge of San Francisco market dynamics and local regulatory considerations.
