Responsibility
- Lead the design and optimization of solar PV, wind, and energy storage systems, including layout, electrical design, and performance modeling.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery and quality control.
- Conduct energy yield analyses, resource assessments, financial modeling, and risk evaluations to drive project viability.
- Oversee technical due diligence, interconnection studies, permitting, and grid compliance activities.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, testing plans, and commissioning procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and support ongoing training on industry standards (IEEE, NEC, IEC).
- Manage project-related QA/QC, change management, and documentation through all project phases.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience across solar, wind, and/or energy storage projects.
- Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as PVsyst, PVSOL, SAM, RETScreen, HOMER; experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
- Solid understanding of grid interconnection, codes, and standards (IEEE 1547, NEC 705/690, IEC 61727).
- Strong project management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% and support multi-site project delivery.
