GreenFlux Energy is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to join our fast-growing team in San Francisco. This role combines technical leadership, project design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver cutting-edge wind, solar, and storage solutions.
As a cornerstone of our renewable projects, you will assess feasibility, lead engineering design, support permitting, and ensure safe, compliant, and budget-conscious execution from concept through commissioning.

Responsibility
- Lead feasibility studies and concept design for wind, solar, and storage projects
- Develop and review technical drawings, energy models, and performance simulations
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and environmental teams to ensure compliant project delivery
- Prepare technical specifications, tender packages, and vendor evaluations
- Support permitting, interconnection studies, and grid impact assessments
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk registers with cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews during design reviews
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in wind, solar, or storage project engineering
- Proficiency in energy modeling, PV design, electrical system design, and grid interconnection
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools, GIS, and battery storage modeling
- Knowledge of relevant codes (IEEE, NEC, IEC) and permitting processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus
