As a Renewable Energy Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and delivery of solar, wind, and energy storage projects across the lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning. Responsibility
- Lead and manage electrical and mechanical design reviews for solar, wind, and storage projects from concept to completion.
- Perform energy yield assessments, simulations, and performance modeling to optimize project economics.
- Coordinate with developers, EPCs, and utilities to secure permits, interconnection strategies, and grid studies.
- Develop and review technical specifications, bill of materials, procurement packages, and standards compliance.
- Support project scheduling, risk management, and cost control with data driven insights.
- Provide field support during construction and commissioning, ensuring quality and safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical, or energy systems engineering (masters preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project design or development.
- Strong proficiency in PV system design, wind resource assessment, and energy storage integration.
- Experience with modeling tools (PVSyst, Helioscope, RETScreen) and CAD software.
- Solid understanding of interconnection processes, permitting, and grid codes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel as required by project needs and health and safety standards.
