We are seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer who can bridge engineering excellence with strategic execution. Responsibility
- Lead engineering design and optimization of solar PV, wind, and energy storage systems from feasibility through commissioning.
- Perform energy yield analyses, modeling, and performance simulations to maximize ROI and reliability.
- Coordinate with project managers, EPCs, and procurement to align scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and review electrical one-line diagrams, interconnection studies, and protective-relay schemes.
- Ensure compliance with codes (NEC, IEC) and industry standards; drive quality assurance and safety programs.
- Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team.
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and regulatory reviews.
- Support the integration of storage systems and digital energy optimization tools.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in renewable energy project engineering, with solar and/or wind experience.
- Strong proficiency in energy modeling (HOMER, PVSyst, SAM) and CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Experience with grid interconnection processes and utility coordination.
- Proven project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
- Professional Engineering license or eligibility is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required for site assessments and commissioning.
