We are seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of utility-scale and commercial projects across North America. In this role, you will own technical excellence from concept through commissioning, driving design reviews, risk assessments, and optimization. You’ll engage with clients, vendors, and regulators to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project engineering for utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects, from conceptual design to commissioning.
- Develop technical designs, perform electrical and mechanical analyses, and ensure compliance with codes and standards (NEC, IEC, etc.).
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teams to review drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and procurement plans to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Oversee HV/LV electrical design, balance-of-system hardware, and interconnection studies with utilities and ISOs.
- Validate energy yield, perform performance simulations, and optimize layouts to maximize revenue and minimize LCoE.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are integrated into all project phases and audits.
- Present progress to clients and management, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of renewable energy project engineering experience, with PV, wind, or storage projects.
- Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, ETAP, and common AE software.
- Experience with project management and scheduling, cost estimation, and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, grid interconnection processes, and utility requirements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (PE, PMP, or related) are a plus.
