SunNova Renewables is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead large-scale solar and wind deployments across North America. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on program management to accelerate decarbonization and drive profitable growth.
You will partner with utilities, EPC contractors, financiers, and internal teams to deliver projects safe, on time, and within budget, while maximizing energy yield and system performance.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for solar and wind assets across multiple sites, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and change control to optimize cost and schedule.
- Coordinate procurement, EPC contracts, and supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Manage safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions and project sites.
- Monitor and report KPIs, risk, and milestone performance to executives and lenders.
- Liaise with utilities, permitting authorities, and community stakeholders to secure approvals and permits.
- Lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior PMs, and foster a high-performance culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related field; MBA or MS preferred.
- 7+ years of project management experience in solar, wind, or energy storage with multi-site deployments.
- PMP or PgMP certification or equivalent; experience with international projects a plus.
- Strong knowledge of grid interconnection processes, standards (NEC/IEC), and permitting requirements.
- Proficiency with project controls, scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project), budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with financial modeling, lender reporting, and turnkey EPC contracts.
