Responsibility
- Lead design, execution, and optimization of cellular biology experiments including cell culture, transfection, and functional assays.
- Develop and validate protocols; troubleshoot and scale assays for high-throughput screening.
- Supervise and train junior scientists, review data, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics teams to integrate multi-omics data.
- Prepare technical reports, present findings to stakeholders, and contribute to grant proposals.
- Ensure compliance with GLP/GMP principles and lab safety standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources; drive continuous process improvement.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and generate patent-worthy concepts when appropriate.
Qualification
- PhD in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field; or a Master's with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years hands-on experience in cell culture, primary cells, cell line authentication, and functional assays (e.g., proliferation, viability, cytotoxicity).
- Expertise with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, viral transduction, and assay development.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Python/R, and experience with statistical interpretation and data visualization.
- Strong publication record or demonstrated record of scientific contributions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States or eligible for work visa sponsorship as needed.
