NovaBio Labs is seeking a Senior Research Scientist specializing in molecular biology to lead state of the art projects in gene expression and cellular modeling.

Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of molecular biology experiments including cloning, PCR, qPCR, sequencing, and assay development.
- Mentor and supervise junior scientists, manage daily operations, and maintain documented SOPs.
- Develop and optimize cell-based and biochemical assays for target validation and mechanism elucidation.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical methods, generate summarized reports, and present findings to cross functional teams.
- Troubleshoot complex workflows to improve reproducibility, quality, and throughput.
- Collaborate with bioinformatics and data science teams to interpret omics data and integrate results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, GLP/GMP practices where applicable, and regulatory documentation.
Qualification
- PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field; 3-7+ years industry experience preferred.
- Hands on experience with cloning, CRISPR, sequencing, qPCR, Western blot, and cell culture.
- Strong data analysis skills using Python or R; experience with statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication abilities; track record of collaboration in cross functional teams.
- Proven project management skills with ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated publication and presentation track record; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
