Responsibility
- Lead integrated reservoir studies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and field development planning
- Design, execute, and interpret reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize production and reduce operating costs
- Perform reserves estimation, resource evaluation, and economic forecasts for existing and prospective assets
- Recommend optimal well placement and enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Support the evaluation of M&A opportunities through technical due diligence
- Communicate technical results to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, or related field
- 7+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve, and volumetric analysis
- Strong command of reservoir engineering software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, CMG)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Advanced understanding of oil & gas field development economics
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
