Join NovaGuard Risk Solutions as a Senior Risk Manager and lead our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program for a global client base in Singapore. This role partners with C-suite, business leaders, and risk functions to safeguard value through robust risk governance, policy development, and data-driven insights.
What you'll do: build and maintain an integrated risk framework, drive risk assessment and mitigation, oversee KRIs, and report to risk committees, ensuring alignment with MAS expectations and ISO 31000 standards.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management framework (ERM) including risk appetite, governance structure, and policy ecosystem.
- Identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, and strategic risks; develop action plans and drive remediation across business units.
- Establish and track key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards for timely risk visibility to the Risk Committee and stakeholders.
- Coordinate risk assessment for new products, initiatives, and integrations; champion risk-informed decision making.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure effective controls and regulatory alignment (MAS, ISO 31000).
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews; oversee remediation tracking and problem management.
- Advise executive leadership on risk implications; prepare executive summaries and regulatory reporting as needed.
- Foster a strong risk culture through training, awareness programs, and governance rituals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional risk certification (FRM, PRM, CIA, CPA) or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in risk management, ideally within financial services, consulting, or corporate risk teams.
- Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000) and governance principles.
- Hands-on experience with GRC platforms (RSA Archer, MetricStream, LogicManager) and data analytics tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem solver with rigorous attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and Singapore risk landscape; ability to navigate complex regulatory expectations.
