Responsibility
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for road and highway projects.
- Direct field teams and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Oversee materials testing, geotechnical coordination, and adherence to DOT specifications.
- Manage scope, changes, and risk with transparent stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with inspectors and clients to ensure regulatory approvals and on-time delivery.
- Track progress with earned value analysis and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure safety programs align with OSHA standards and site-specific requirements.
- Evaluate contractor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of road construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
- PMI PMP or CCM certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT standards, asphalt, concrete pavements, earthwork, drainage, and utility coordination.
- Proficiency with project management software (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and construction collaboration tools (Procore).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites as required.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training.
