Join TerraForge Civil and Infrastructure as a Senior Road Construction Project Manager, overseeing highway and arterial road projects in the Phoenix metro area.
We seek a proactive leader who can drive project delivery, manage budgets, maintain safety standards, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, inspectors, and contractors.
You will ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and quality requirements while maintaining strong client and community relations.
Responsibility
- Lead daily coordination with engineers, inspectors, and contractors to align project objectives and timelines.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure on-time delivery.
- Supervise construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and safety protocols.
- Implement and monitor quality control plans, testing regimes, and defect management processes.
- Coordinate traffic management, public communications, and stakeholder engagement to minimize disruption.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor performance, and change order processes while controlling costs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and local ordinances; maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PE or CCM preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of road construction or heavy highway project experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards (OSHA).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and design drawings; proficiency with project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget; experience with public sector clients a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across the Phoenix area as required.
