Responsibility
- Handle cash, card, and e-wallet payments accurately at the point of sale, ensuring reconciliation and minimal discrepancies.
- Perform cashiering duties including end-of-day cash balancing and accurate POS reconciliation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, upsell complementary products, and promote promotions and loyalty programs.
- Maintain accurate pricing, promotions, and discounts; assist with POS transactions and returns/exchanges per policy.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, banking standards, and internal controls.
- Support store operations through merchandising, inventory checks, and loss prevention measures.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues, escalating complex cases to management when necessary.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, cashiering, or a retail banking environment.
- Strong numerical ability with meticulous attention to detail and cash handling accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills; comfortable with in-store and digital payments.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy; familiarity with e-wallet platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends; reliable and trustworthy.
