CEJN Products Far East is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth in Malaysia. In this fast-evolving role, you will be responsible for expanding the market for CEJN's premium hydraulic and fluid power solutions. Based in Bandar Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, you will partner with distributors, OEMs, and system integrators to unlock new business opportunities and deliver outstanding engineering-based value to customers.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will conduct in-depth needs assessments, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and translate customer requirements into tailored solutions. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and marketing to position CEJN's portfolio, respond to RFQs, and shape the technical aspects of the sales cycle. Your insights from field interactions will help refine our offerings and support strategic pricing and go-to-market plans.

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for Malaysia to grow revenue across CEJN's premium hydraulic and fluid power products.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators; lead technical solution selling and ROI discussions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, application engineering support, and training to customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to tailor solutions, respond to RFQs, and create winning proposals.
  • Own the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to order closure, including forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Maintain long-term account relationships, provide after-sales technical support, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Represent CEJN at industry events, trade shows, and local engineering communities; gather market feedback and share insights with leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, contracts, and regulatory requirements while protecting CEJN's brand and margins.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; MBA or technical postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in hydraulics, fluid power, or industrial components.
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions, manage RFQs, and close deals with engineers and procurement teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel within the territory as required (up to 40%).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics to track performance and forecast accurately.
  • Knowledge of CEJN product portfolio and industrial standards is a plus; fluency in English; Malay or Mandarin is a plus.
