Private Advertiser is actively seeking a Senior Sales Engineer who specializes in industrial pumps. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with leading brands such as Grundfos, KSB, Ebara, Wilo, Tsurumi, or Torishima, or distribution partners. You will drive revenue growth in Jakarta and adjacent regions by delivering tailored pumping solutions to industrial customers across sectors such as water treatment, construction, mining, and manufacturing.
In this role you will translate complex customer requirements into compelling technical and commercial proposals. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to size systems, select products, and ensure seamless integration with existing plant processes. You will travel to customer sites for assessments, field demonstrations, and after-sales support, building trusted relationships and providing ongoing technical guidance.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for major industrial clients across Jakarta and surrounding regions to drive revenue growth in industrial pumps.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and end users in sectors such as water treatment, construction, mining, and manufacturing.
- Provide technical sales support, presenting product capabilities, performance data, and solution-based proposals.
- Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations; tailor solutions to clients' processes and specifications.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, bids, and contracts; manage RFPs and procurement cycles.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to size/pump selection and ensure integration with existing systems.
- Travel to customer sites for assessments, installations, and after-sales support; ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain CRM data, forecast sales, and monitor project milestones.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Applications Engineer in industrial pumps brands or distributors; 5+ years preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of centrifugal pumps, pumping systems, hydraulics, piping, seals, and motors; experience with Grundfos, KSB, Ebara, Wilo, Tsurumi, or Torishima is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record in B2B technical sales, key account management, and solution selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, pump curves, and technical datasheets; proficiency with CAD or pump selection software beneficial.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa Indonesia; willingness to travel; customer-oriented mindset.
- CRM and MS Office proficiency; project management skills.
