Join Aegis Security Solutions as a Senior Security Operations Manager and lead our enterprise security program. You will design, implement, and optimize security operations across detection, response, and prevention. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to protect high-value assets and critical infrastructure.
As part of the Security Leadership team, you will partner with IT, Compliance, and executive leadership to drive risk-based decisions and ensure adherence to industry standards.
In this role, you will influence security posture across client sites and internal operations, champion incident response excellence, and foster a culture of proactive risk management.
Responsibility
- Oversee 24/7 security operations, monitoring, and incident response across multiple client sites.
- Develop and implement security operation SOPs, playbooks, and escalation procedures.
- Lead a team of security analysts, SOC engineers, and incident responders; manage staffing and performance.
- Coordinate with IT, facilities, and executive leadership to align security with business objectives.
- Drive threat hunting, risk assessment, and vulnerability management; track remediation.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and tool deployment (SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP).
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7-10 years of security operations experience; 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Proven track record in incident response, threat intelligence, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS; experience with compliance programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at executive level.
- Experience managing SOC tools (SIEM, EDR, XDR), IAM, and data protection technologies.
