Based in New York, we seek a results-driven Senior Security Services Manager to lead client engagements, drive operational excellence, and recruit top-tier security professionals. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership, overseeing risk-based security programs, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a member of our leadership team, you will partner with clients to assess needs, define security objectives, and scale programs that protect people, assets, and reputation. You will also mentor a diverse team of security professionals and collaborate with operations, technology, and compliance teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and delivery of comprehensive security programs for multiple client engagements, ensuring measurable outcomes and satisfaction.
- Direct on-site security teams, schedule operations, and maintain staffing models aligned with client needs and budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and corrective action plans to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develop incident response playbooks, coordinate drills, and oversee rapid resolution of security incidents.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract compliance for security services and technology.
- Foster a culture of safety, training, and professional development within the security team.
- Partner with clients and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and ethical standards across programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in security services, with 3+ years in people leadership roles.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISSP, or equivalent are highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, physical security, access control, CCTV, and incident response.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills; proven ability to translate security concepts into business value.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and adapt to a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Proficiency with security management software, reporting tools, and MS Office; data-driven mindset.
