We are seeking a Senior Sports Marketing Manager to lead high-impact campaigns that connect fans with the thrill of live sport across digital, social, and experiential channels. As a member of our marketing leadership team, you will champion data-informed decisions, craft compelling storytelling, and collaborate with sponsorship, media, ticketing, and operations teams to elevate brand equity and drive growth.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and in-stadium channels to drive attendance and engagement.
- Oversee yearly marketing calendar, budget planning, and agency/vendor management with a focus on ROI.
- Lead content strategy and creative direction for campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand and league guidelines.
- Collaborate with sponsorship and partnerships teams to activate sponsorships and drive sponsor value.
- Analyze performance data, generate actionable insights, and present weekly reporting to executive leadership.
- Plan and execute experiential activations and community engagement initiatives to strengthen fan loyalty.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional marketing team, including coordinators and creatives.
- Ensure compliance with league standards and privacy regulations in all marketing activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in sports marketing or brand management with proven ROI outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing data platforms and attribution modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience with sponsorship activations, event marketing, and fan engagement initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and vendor relationship management.
