Job description
New York United Sports Group is seeking a dynamic Sports Marketing & Partnerships Manager to own our brand marketing strategy, sponsorships, and partner programs across multiple sports properties.
In this role you will collaborate with national sponsors, drive integrated campaigns, oversee event activations, and translate data insights into compelling storytelling that resonates with fans in the New York market.
You will report to the Head of Marketing and work cross-functionally with operations, digital, and ticketing teams to deliver revenue growth and memorable fan experiences.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans and sponsorship programs that align with organizational goals.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage corporate partnerships and rights fees with sponsors and partners.
- Lead integrated campaigns across social, digital, experiential events, and traditional media to maximize fan engagement.
- Plan and oversee on-site activation and appearance programs at major events and games.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and present insights to leadership with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with ticketing, merchandising, and digital teams to optimize revenue streams and brand consistency.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in sports marketing, partnerships, or sponsorships with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to create compelling sponsor proposals.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using marketing analytics tools and CRM platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously; willingness to travel for events.
- Knowledge of New York market and sports media landscape is a plus.
