Join Apex Global Logistics as a Senior Supply Chain Manager based in Chicago. You will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, drive optimization initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, cost-effective logistics across North America and beyond.
\nWe seek a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in demand planning, S&OP cycles, and supplier collaboration. You will own metrics such as inventory turns, service levels, and total landed cost while mentoring a team of analysts to turn data into actionable insights.
\nResponsibility

- Lead end-to-end supply chain planning, including demand planning, inventory optimization, and capacity planning. \n
- Own the S&OP process; align Sales, Operations, and Procurement to balance demand and supply. \n
- Drive forecasting accuracy, safety stock levels, and service levels to meet customer expectations. \n
- Develop and monitor KPIs such as inventory turns, fill rate, on-time delivery, and total landed cost. \n
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) and implement digitization projects (ERP, TMS, WMS). \n
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and optimize procurement spend. \n
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize inbound/outbound network design and transportation planning. \n
- Mentor and develop a team of supply chain analysts; foster a data-driven culture. \n
Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. \n
- 5-7+ years of progressive supply chain experience; leadership role is a plus. \n
- Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), TMS/WMS, and advanced Excel; familiarity with data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI). \n
- Proven track record in demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, and cost reduction. \n
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy and continuous improvement. \n
- Project management experience and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives to completion. \n
- Demonstrated leadership in coaching and developing a high-performing team. \n
