Join Apex Global Logistics as a Senior Supply Chain Manager in Chicago. You will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, forecasting, inventory optimization, and vendor partnerships to deliver exceptional service and cost efficiency for a growing portfolio of customers.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end supply chain planning, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning across multiple product lines.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and optimal cost-to-serve.
- Develop and monitor KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, LTPM) and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Own S&OP processes, aligning demand and supply with sales and financial planning.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and 3PL partners.
- Lead cross-functional projects to optimize warehousing, transportation, and network design using data analytics.
- Implement ERP/MRP systems enhancements and ensure data integrity across supply chain modules.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain team, driving a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Proven track record in demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, and logistics management.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), MRP, and advanced Excel; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Project management experience and ability to lead complex, multi-phased initiatives.
- Regional or global supply chain experience; knowledge of international trade and import/export processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
