Join Nexus Supply Chain Solutions, a leading provider of integrated logistics and operations solutions. We’re seeking a results-driven Senior Supply Chain Manager to optimize end-to-end processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Based in Chicago, IL, this role partners with procurement, operations, and finance to deliver superior service levels while reducing total cost of ownership. You will architect scalable supply chain strategies, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across planning, inventory, and logistics.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end demand planning and S&OP processes to align forecasted demand with supply capabilities.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize supplier performance, lead times, and total costs.
- Oversee inventory optimization across multiple fulfillment centers to improve service levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning, procurement, and logistics using data analytics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to develop budgeting, capacity planning, and scenario modeling.
- Lead cross-functional teams on supply chain risk management, supplier risk assessments, and contingency planning.
- Implement and optimize ERP and analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) to enable real-time visibility.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 6-8 years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven track record in demand planning, S&OP, procurement, and inventory optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel; experience with data visualization tools a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a focus on results and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and regulatory compliance is a plus.
