Job description
NovaChain Global is seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations in Singapore. This role focuses on demand planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver superior customer service and cost efficiency.
You will partner with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to design and implement supply chain strategies that scale with a growing, multinational client base.
Responsibility
- Develop and own demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP processes to align supply with market demand.
- Lead procurement and supplier relationship management, including contract negotiation and risk mitigation.
- Oversee inventory optimization, safety stock, lead times, and replenishment strategies across multiple channels.
- Steer logistics and distribution operations, including warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, IT, sales, manufacturing) to implement SCM improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Establish and track KPIs (service levels, fill rate, inventory turns, end-to-end cycle time) and drive data-driven improvements.
- Lead or mentor a small team or regional analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, including demand planning, procurement, and logistics.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and data visualization tools; advanced Excel required.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships; vendor negotiation experience.
- Deep knowledge of S&OP process, inventory optimization, and regulatory/compliance considerations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable working in a multinational environment.
- Proactive problem solver with a bias for action and the ability to manage competing priorities.
