As a key member of our field and office teams, you’ll work on boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM-compliant surveys, and construction staking for residential, commercial, and public works projects. You’ll leverage GNSS, total stations, and advanced CAD/GIS tools, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibility
- Perform field surveys using GNSS, total stations, and data collectors to capture precise spatial data for design and construction.
- Prepare accurate field notes, as-built records, and survey deliverables (plats, sketches, TDMs) for CAD and GIS integration.
- Conduct boundary, topographic, and ALTA/ACSM surveys for land development, roadways, and public-rights-of-way projects.
- Support design teams with staking, layout, and review of survey control for accuracy and constructability.
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment; manage data integrity, metadata, and QA/QC procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients; communicate findings and implications clearly in written and verbal form.
- Assist with permitting, right-of-way mapping, and GIS data management as needed.
- Adhere to safety policies, regulatory standards, and project deadlines while prioritizing quality and efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of professional surveying experience; field and office-based work.
- Proficiency with GNSS and total stations; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS software.
- Strong knowledge of surveying standards, local codes, and mapping requirements; experience with ALTA/ACSM is a plus.
- Excellent data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; effective written and verbal communication.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites; safety training such as OSHA 10 is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
